Android-based smart displays
A screen with Android built in can run the player directly, with no external box.
Not iOS, not Tizen, not BrightSign
iOS is explicitly unsupported. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, BrightSign, Chrome OS and Windows have no player. If your estate is one of those, ScreenQube does not run on it today.
Getting a screen live
Four steps, once per screen.

Install the player
On the Android device driving the screen.

Read the registration code
The player displays a short code on the screen itself.

Enter it in the console
Against the facility the screen belongs to.

Publish to it
The player fetches its content and starts playing.
After it is running
Things you can do without going back to the wall.
The point of a managed player is not having to send somebody up a ladder.
Take a screenshot
Ask the screen for a picture of what it is displaying right now.
Reload and clear cache
Force the player to fetch fresh content without touching the device.
Reboot remotely
Restart the player from the browser.

Is there an iPad or iPhone version?
No.
Will it run on my Samsung or LG smart TV?
Only if the display runs Android. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS are separate platforms with no ScreenQube player.
Is there a mobile app for managing content?
The console is a browser application and works on a phone browser.
What hardware do you recommend?
We do not sell hardware and have not published a certified device list. Your partner will usually have one they support, which is a better answer than a generic recommendation from us.
Check it against your hardware first.
If your screens are not Android, we would rather tell you now than after a purchase order.
