Corporate and office

The message reaches
the whole floor.

An all-staff email is read by the people already at a desk. A screen in the lift lobby is read by everyone. Notices, results, safety reminders and welcomes, published from one browser to every office you run.

Plans, prices and trials are set by your ScreenQube partner.

An internal noticeboard screen listing a results briefing, three new joiners and a lift outage.

Where it ends up

You work in a browser.
They see the wall.

The screen above is what you publish. This is where it ends up — a display a customer stands in front of, driven by a player that fetched it on its own.

A welcome screen listing the day's meetings above an office reception desk, with a receptionist working below.

What goes on the screens

Six things worth putting up.

Every one of these is ordinary media, arranged in Composition and sent out by Publish. Nothing here needs a separate system.

Company announcements

The thing everyone needs to know, on the wall they walk past.

New joiners and recognition

Names and faces, so a new starter is known before they reach their desk.

Numbers the team owns

Targets, progress and results, published as artwork on a schedule.

What is on today

Briefings, town halls, visitors and room changes.

Safety and policy reminders

The notices that legally have to be visible, visible.

Live conditions

The App Store carries ready-made apps — weather, news, YouTube, currency and tickers — beside your own media.

Where the screens go

Four walls that earn it.

  1. Reception and lift lobby

The first screen anyone sees, staff and visitor alike.

  2. Floor and department walls

Team numbers and notices, per floor, per facility.

  3. Breakout and canteen

Where people stand still long enough to read something longer.

  4. Meeting-room approaches

What is on, and where it moved to.

How it is run

Four steps, then it runs itself.

The same four steps whether you have four screens or four hundred. This is the real console, not an illustration.

  1. Add facilities, pair screens

One facility per site, branch or building. A screen joins by showing a registration code, which you type in once. Switch between facilities from the header.

  2. Upload and compose

Media goes into the library, in folders, with tags. Composition arranges it into zones — your own files, plus App Store apps like weather, news or a ticker.

  3. Publish three ways

On a schedule, with day sequences. Or QuickPlay, which the console describes as displaying content instantly for a flash sale or an emergency. Or as the default composition a screen falls back to.

  4. Check it, without going there

Live Monitoring reports each screen's state. Take Screenshot shows what one is really displaying. Reload, clear the cache or reboot it remotely.

What it fixes

The three complaints we actually hear.

Half the company never sees the all-staff email.
A screen does not need to be opened. Publish once and it plays on every floor you selected.
Notices stay up for months after they stop being true.
Publish carries a schedule, so a notice can be given an end as well as a start.
Nobody can say who put that slide up.
Audits records every create, update and delete against the person who made it.

Questions

What corporate and office teams ask first.

Can each office show its own notices?

Yes. Each office is a facility, holding its own screens, with a facility switcher in the header and a default you land on.

Can we let a local team publish, but only to their own floor?

Users belong to groups, and groups decide what a person can reach. Settings carries the rest of the organisation's configuration.

Does it show our Microsoft or Google calendar?

No room-booking integration has been observed. What is built is a web-URL app, so a page your own systems publish can be shown on the screen.

What do we install on the screens?

An Android player app, on displays you already own.

Put it on every screen.
