Logistics and warehousing

Dock, yard
and pick face.

A distribution centre has three shifts, a lot of agency staff and nobody at a desk. Safety, throughput, shift changes and dock allocation belong on screens at the point of work — published from one place across every depot.

Plans, prices and trials are set by your ScreenQube partner.

A warehouse shift board with tiles for units picked, docks in use, open safety items and headcount, over an hourly chart.

Where it ends up

You work in a browser.
They see the wall.

The screen above is what you publish. This is where it ends up — a display a customer stands in front of, driven by a player that fetched it on its own.

Two screens on an office pillar showing a company update and quarterly progress, with an open plan floor behind.
Screens above the desks in a control room. You work in a browser. This is the other end of it — a display a customer stands in front of, driven by a player that fetched its content on its own.

What goes on the screens

Six things worth putting up.

Every one of these is ordinary media, arranged in Composition and sent out by Publish. Nothing here needs a separate system.

Safety and traffic-route notices

Pedestrian routes, PPE and the notices that have to be current.

Shift, handover and agency briefing

What this shift is walking into, without a huddle.

Throughput and targets

Published as artwork on a schedule — the board a pick face works under.

Dock and yard information

Which bay, which door, and what is waiting.

Recognition and hiring

The canteen screen does this better than a noticeboard.

Short-notice changes

One publish reaches every depot you selected.

Where the screens go

Four walls that earn it.

  1. Dock and loading bays

Bay allocation, safety and traffic routing.

  2. Pick faces and aisles

Short, legible, in the field of view of the work.

  3. Yard and gatehouse

Driver instructions and site rules before anyone is on foot.

  4. Canteen and welfare

The longer content people have time to read.

How it is run

Four steps, then it runs itself.

The same four steps whether you have four screens or four hundred. This is the real console, not an illustration.

  1. Add facilities, pair screens

One facility per site, branch or building. A screen joins by showing a registration code, which you type in once. Switch between facilities from the header.

  2. Upload and compose

Media goes into the library, in folders, with tags. Composition arranges it into zones — your own files, plus App Store apps like weather, news or a ticker.

  3. Publish three ways

On a schedule, with day sequences. Or QuickPlay, which the console describes as displaying content instantly for a flash sale or an emergency. Or as the default composition a screen falls back to.

  4. Check it, without going there

Live Monitoring reports each screen's state. Take Screenshot shows what one is really displaying. Reload, clear the cache or reboot it remotely.

What it fixes

The three complaints we actually hear.

Agency staff change weekly and briefings do not stick.
The board is on the wall whether the briefing happened or not.
Every depot prints its own safety notices.
One library, one publish, and Audits recording who changed what.
A screen at a remote depot has been dark for weeks.
Total Disconnected Screens is a headline tile on the dashboard.

Questions

What logistics and warehousing teams ask first.

Can it show live throughput from our WMS?

No warehouse-system integration has been observed in the console. Boards are published as media through Composition.

Can each depot run its own screens?

Yes. Each depot is a facility with its own screens.

Can we restrict who publishes to the safety boards?

Users belong to groups, and groups decide what a person can reach.

What hardware does it need?

Displays you own that run Android, plus the player app.
